A manner of referencing a distinct portion of a quadrant. Each quadrant was divided into three curved "slices", commonly referred to by number.

Slice 1, also known as the "Inner Slice," was the area closest to the inner circle; it was also the smallest slice in terms of population on the residential floors.

Slice 2, known as the "Middle Slice", was middle in every way, location and population.

Slice 3, known as the "Outer Slice", was located appropriately. It had the highest population density but was also the most spread out.
