Also known as: co-op
A cooperative is a group of people who come together to work on a common goal and earn extra units. Their creation may be ephemeral or substantial.
Cooperatives may run stores, restaurants, recreation, and entertainment facilities. Joining an existing cooperative or starting a new one usually requires an upfront fee or investment that would be used to expand or satisfy the business's needs, as well as agreeing to the time required. Any profits earned would be split equally among all the members. Members usually agreed to allocate a portion of the profits back into the business for rentals and purchases of raw materials.
