- Special Interest Groups
SIGs are groups of ordinary people sharing common priorities and concerns who band together to effect change. They could include people of a particular age group, gender, familial status, disability, work, or neighborhood.

The common name for the supplies stocked by the Foundation within the habitats. Basic and upgraded furniture, appliances, and technology all came from Stores. Items could be ordered for pickup at specific locations on the Mercantile Floor or delivered should they be too big.

Subsidies are the allotments of an individual’s basic needs, providing them with furnishings, clothing, personal grooming, hygiene products for both home and self and daily dietary requirements.

Systems is a comprehensive term for everything within the computer network available to those in the habitats. This included the data, architecture and applications used by those in the habitats, which could be accessed via the interfaces.

- Thought, Conscious
Conscious thoughts are the thoughts we are aware of. These thoughts are responsible for our awareness of what is about us and the choices we make with our minds and act upon. Our conscious minds represent what we think of when we ask ourselves, “Who am I?”

A part of our minds and thoughts we are not conscious of until we think about them. Our subconscious mind influences our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

The word “tradition” in a Wiccan context can be understood as a pseudonym for the different sects of Wiccan spirituality, which have commonalities and discrete areas of difference.

The travel corridor, arranged around the outer wall, has airlift entrances along its concave wall on specified floors. All floors contain elevators for travel within the section arranged along its convex wall. In the middle of the corridor, a moving walkway with entrances and exits every 500 feet (152 meters).

The treeline is an integral part of the outer walls’ camouflage. On every living floor, an area extending 50 feet from the wall contains deciduous trees (usually with edible nuts) and smaller evergreen trees furthest from the wall.

- Units
The name for the digital currency used in the habitats.

Typically found on most living floors (agriculture and outdoor recreation floors were the exceptions), the walkways stretched from the Compass Point entrances, ending well before the platform tube.

A form of neopaganism that emphasizes observance of the turning of the seasons by celebrating the Wheel of the Year through its celebration of the Sabbats. Wicca focuses on a reverence for nature and a belief that everything and everyone are interconnected in a way that those who so choose can experience and weave intentions into.

The Witches Head Tradition was the Wiccan tradition in which Alexandra trained and achieved her third degree. As with any who had achieved the same degree, she was considered a high priest/ess while still on the surface.
