Also known as: co-op
A cooperative is a group of people who come together to work on a common goal and earn extra units. Their creation may be ephemeral or substantial.
Cooperatives are groups of people who combine to create something, whether ephemeral or substantial. Cooperatives may operate stores, restaurants, recreation facilities, and entertainment venues. Joining an existing cooperative or starting a new one typically requires an upfront fee or investment to expand or meet the business's needs, as well as a commitment of time. Any profits earned would be split equally among all the members. Members typically agreed to allocate a portion of the profits back into the business for rental expenses and the purchase of raw materials.
